Dr. Kevin L.W. Banks is an experienced and highly skilled urologic surgeon in Columbus, Ohio who has returned to OhioHealth Riverside Methodist Hospital and joined OhioHealth Urology Physicians.

Dr. Banks was named to the 2015 Top Doctors in Central Ohio list in Columbus Monthly magazine, November, 2015.

Dr. Banks’ professional passion is to deliver high quality clinical and surgical care to patients with a wide range of genitourinary problems. These problems include kidney stones, genitourinary cancer, male and female incontinence, pelvic prolapse and benign prostatic hyperplasia (BPH). Dr. Banks is an experienced minimally invasive urologic surgeon with more than a decade of experience in laparoscopic and robotic surgery. He applies these techniques in the treatment of both benign and malignant disease.

Dr. Banks’ previous experience has allowed him to become a consummate clinical urologist. During training, he was actively involved in the Minimally Invasive Surgery Center at the Cleveland Clinic, where he helped further the laparoscopic research program. From 2005 to 2008, Dr. Banks was an active member of the Riverside Methodist Hospital staff and was one of the pioneers of Riverside Methodist Hospital’s robotic surgery program, performing some of the hospital’s first robotic prostate surgeries during that time. Dr. Banks then worked as a clinical assistant professor at Case Western Reserve University before his most recent job serving as the Division Chief of Urology for University Hospitals Geauga Medical Center.
